Mi Pop Run in Russia
Xiaomi has announced the launch of the third Mi Pop Run charity run in Russia. This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event is being held online, but the conditions for participants using fitness trackers from any generation of the brand remain the same.
As in the previous year, the steps counted by the Mi Smart Band fitness bracelets are converted into a certain amount, which will be donated to a charitable foundation. Participants need to take a photo of their bracelet or take a screenshot from the Mi Fit app so that the number of steps registered by the tracker can be seen, and upload the photo to the social network with the hashtag # MiPopRun2020.
The sum collected as a result of the race will be transferred to the LifeLine charitable foundation for the treatment of 6-year-old Daniel Galitsky from the Tula region, suffering from medulloblastoma.
The Mi Pop Run 2020 event runs from September 21st to the 27th. You can read more about its terms on the official Xiaomi website.
