During the presentation of the Galaxy S20 FE smartphone, Samsung representatives shared with reporters information about the use of the Fan Edition branded name and spoke about the further fate of the entire series. The manufacturer also explained how he was able to reduce the cost of new items in comparison with the flagship of the Galaxy brand series.

The company noted that in the future they plan to annually release the FE version of each new flagship device. In order to reduce the cost of the recently presented gadget, the manufacturer used a flat display and a plastic back cover, which is available in various colors. Formally, the Galaxy S20 FE can be considered the successor of the Galaxy S10 Lite model released last year, although the company did not use such a prefix in the name of the gadget.

The smartphone has a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display with Full HD + resolution. Like the flagship version, the device’s screen supports HDR10 + and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The built-in 25W Fast Charge battery is identical to the Galaxy S20 +.
