Fisker Ocean electric SUV
Fisker has announced an agreement with Magna International for a series production of the Ocean electric SUV. The official nature of this collaboration comes to a couple of months after the news that the two companies were talking to each other to carry out the project of the new battery-powered vehicle together. Thanks to this agreement, Fisker will be able to bring Ocean to the road while respecting its schedule. Production will start in the fourth quarter of 2022.
The announcement of the collaboration highlights some interesting details. The future SUV will be built on the FM29 platform developed jointly by Fisker and Magna. A platform that will then also be used for other models of the American brand. In this regard, it is recalled that the manufacturer’s goal would be to launch 3 battery-powered vehicles by 2025. The second interesting detail is financial.
