Watch Dogs 3 system requirements
A month ago, we announced the system requirements for Watch Dogs Legion that Ubisoft shared with the public. It turned out that the developers misunderstood the data a little. The system requirements have been updated, and they have become slightly higher.
Like last time, the system requirements are broken down into six categories – 1080p at high and low graphics settings, 1440p at high settings, 4K at ultra settings, and 1440p and 4K with RTX enabled. This time, the hardware requirements were higher. For example, the minimum 1080p graphics requires an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 graphics card, not the 960 as mentioned earlier. We’ve also increased the processor requirements for playing at 1440p: instead of the Intel i7-7700K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600, Intel i7-9700K, or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 are now required.

The most serious changes have taken place with the maximum graphic presets. 1440p and 4K with ray tracing require GeForce RTX 3070 and 3080. You can compare the new requirements in detail with the previous version here. Ubisoft did not disclose why the technology threshold was raised. There may be some problems with the optimization of the game.
It is noteworthy that the system requirements for the settings of the maximum level jumped very noticeably – to the latest video cards NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 when the RTX 2070 and RTX 2080 Ti were enough for the title earlier. Especially considering the scarcity of these devices in the gaming hardware market (RTX 3070 has not yet gone on sale at all).
